Our karate for adults classes focus on three key areas:
- Basic training moves ( kihon)
- More advance sparring techniques ( kumite)
- Sequences of offensive and defensive patterns ( kata).
Regardless of your age or previous experience our program can adapt. Fundamentals are taught with attention to focus and control and are underpinned by the five maxims of karate:

- Respect others
- Develop self-control/ refrain from violent behavior.
Adult students also have the ability to develop through the JKA belt system. Through dedicated training and commitment they can complete gradings and progress at their own level. This offers incredible opportunity for goal setting, leadership, accountability and focus. Students are also encouraged to attend seminars and competitions.
